My “why” started when I was a child. Growing up, every time I was sick or something felt off, I became increasingly frustrated. The doctors I was taken to often couldn’t figure out what was really going on or how to truly help. That frustration slowly turned into curiosity—I wanted to understand the why behind what was happening in the body, not just the symptoms on the surface.
That curiosity, combined with a deep desire to help others, led me into healthcare. Over the years, I worked in many different settings: the emergency room, a medical doctor’s office, a veterinary office, an assisted living facility, and even as an in-home nurse. Each role taught me something valuable, but none of them left me feeling like I was fully serving patients in the way I knew was possible. Too often, the focus was on managing symptoms instead of finding the true root cause.
Everything changed during a conversation with my chiropractor. He asked me what I was looking for in a career, and I told him I wanted to help people understand what was really going on in their bodies—not just cover things up. He smiled and said, “You just described chiropractic.”
That was the first time anyone had explained chiropractic to me that way, even though I had been under chiropractic care since I was just two weeks old. It felt like a lightbulb went off. I knew I needed to learn more.
Within months, I started chiropractic school and moved to Davenport, Iowa, to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. After graduating, I knew my learning wasn’t finished. I felt called to continue growing so I could better serve the patients and families I would care for. Since then, I’ve trained extensively in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic, focusing on supporting the nervous system during the most important stages of life.
In June of 2025, I met Dr. Nick and Rachel, and immediately felt aligned with their heart, mission, and vision for care. I was excited to join a team that shares the same passion for neurologically focused chiropractic and for helping families find real answers, hope, and healing.
Today, I am grateful to do work that aligns so deeply with my purpose—helping people uncover the root causes of their challenges and supporting the body’s incredible ability to heal from the inside out.
