About Hope Chiropractic
Why We Exist
Hope Chiropractic serves Carmel families who have lost hope in their health journey.

At Hope Chiropractic, we’re here to help children and families thrive.
Our mission has always been to deliver exceptional pediatric and family chiropractic care—not by doing what’s easy, but by doing what’s right. With more and more kids struggling with chronic issues like asthma, allergies, ADHD, and autism, we knew families needed a different approach.
That’s why we’ve invested in advanced training to provide confident, neurologically focused care—even for the most sensitive and complex cases. We take time to truly listen, assess, and create personalized care plans that help kids heal, grow, and reach their full potential.
We’re here for the parents who’ve been told “they’ll grow out of it,” and for families who feel like they’re out of options.
We’re here to bring clarity, confidence, and hope.
Meet the Team & Doctors
At Hope Chiropractic, our doctors and care advocates are deeply committed to helping families overcome the challenges that stand in the way of true health and well-being. We lead with hope and clarity—taking time to connect, listen, and guide you with a clear understanding of how the nervous system functions and heals. We’re here to help you understand the “why,” the “how,” and—most importantly—the hope behind every step of your care.

My chiropractic journey started at day one! My dad and uncle are both chiropractors in Cincinnati, OH, so I’ve been adjusted since the day I was born. Growing up, living a holistic chiropractic lifestyle was a big part of our lives. When I was in elementary school, I started to notice that all of my friends would get sick all of the time, got headaches, struggled with allergies and so much more, but my family never had any of that. So from a young age I could tell that there was something different.
Around that same time, I started hanging out at my dad’s office a lot before sports practice and my dad would always host two workshops for his patients. One would be about chiropractic and the other would be about nutrition, and I sat through those workshops over, and over, and over again. I could only hear the truth about our current healthcare system and how the human body actually works so many times before I said to myself, “Okay, I have to do something about this.”
So I decided to get my Bachelors degree in nutrition and my Doctorate in Chiropractic. I spent my freshman year at the University of Cincinnati (Go Bearcats!), and thank God I did because that’s where I met my future wife, Rachel. After that I spent the next 7 years at Life University in Marietta, GA, the largest chiropractic school in the world. While I was there, I dedicated myself to learning as much as I possibly could so that one day I could help other kids and families experience the same start to life that I was blessed with.

Dr. David Bell
Doctor of Chiropractic From a young age, I’ve always felt a calling to serve—whether it was volunteering at church, helping out as a Boy Scout, or simply lending a hand wherever I could. That spirit of service has been a guiding force throughout my life, and it’s what ultimately led me to discover my true purpose in chiropractic care. My own journey wasn’t always easy. As a child, I struggled with learning—reading and math never came easily, and focusing in school was a daily challenge. Even through college, I found it hard to retain information and stay on track. It wasn’t until I experienced chiropractic care firsthand that things began to change. The transformation I felt was profound, not just physically, but in my ability to focus, learn, and thrive. What truly inspired me, though, was witnessing the impact chiropractic could have on entire families. I’ll never forget hearing the story of a man whose life—and the lives of those around him—were changed through chiropractic care. His wife had insisted he start care because of some reproductive concerns. He got under care albeit begrudgingly. The doctor sharing the story mentioned the man was very aloof, rude to the staff, and just generally a curmudgeon. Later on in care the doctor was talking to the man’s wife at a re-evaluation. He asked her what she had noticed about her husband since he had been under care. She of course said that his demeanor had changed, he smiled more, and was more present at home. The doctor confirmed that he and his staff had noticed the same. His wife went on saying that the most important thing that had changed was that her husband had stopped abusing their daughter… Read More

Co-Owner/Chief Growth Officer
Hi, I’m Rachel, and working at Hope Chiropractic is truly one of my favorite things.
Though I’m not in the adjusting rooms or even in office day-to-day, you’ll often find me behind the scenes—working from home with my one-year-old sidekick in tow. Leading and growing the team at Hope feels like more than just a job—it feels like being part of a movement. I love what I do and who I get to do it with.
I grew up a small-town Ohio athlete with a big interest in nutrition and wellness. But even though I stayed active, I constantly battled fatigue, pain, frequent sickness, and struggled with severe insomnia and menstrual issues from a young age. I thought that was just part of being human—until I started college at the University of Cincinnati and met a future chiropractor. That chiropractor was Nick (now my husband), and being introduced to chiropractic truly changed every aspect of my life.
Outside of Hope, I teach and perform aerial dance, and I love movement in all forms—especially Pilates and yoga. I’m a lifelong learner, a passionate reader, and happiest when I’m with Nick, our son Elliott, and our giant schnauzer, Otto.

Lead Care Advocate I was born here in Indianapolis and, funny enough, grew up just down the street from Hope. I lived in Colorado for 5 years, but moved back home to Indiana and that’s when I found Hope (no pun intended). I’ve worked within a Care capacity in one way or another for the past decade and I absolutely adore getting to work with kids! My uncle is a chiropractor and I’ve received chiropractic care on and off my whole life, but working at Hope has shown me that not all chiropractic care is the same! I’m passionate about healing the body as naturally as possible and the nervous system is where it starts! With neurologically-based chiropractic care, it’s a completely different approach to heal the body and truly works wonders. I’ve not only experienced my own miracles under care here, but I’ve gotten to witness so many! My favorite parts of the job are celebrating your wins, high fives, and getting the first “Hi” or “Bye” from our non-verbal and speech regression kiddos. If I’m not at work, you can catch me out hiking, traveling, taking a yoga class, or flying around in the air at aerial class! I’m also a bit of a foodie and love to chat about new restaurants and local spots. I always enjoy a good book recommendation or a nerdy health conversation!

I was born and raised in the Indianapolis area, and my childhood was filled with your typical midwestern things: school, sports, family, and friends. It was, by all accounts, a happy and care-free childhood. My story is probably similar to many. As a child and young adult, I was a shy, perfectionist, student-athlete who unknowingly struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember. As time went on, the anxiety only grew and manifested in different ways until I no longer could control it.
It wasn’t until after I had checked out, self-medicated, and gone to the depths of my personal hell that I began to find true healing. Once I started to clean up how I was caring for my body, I realized that I had been living in a constant state of fight-or-flight and that my kids were also stuck in it! We were in the thick of our very own Perfect Storm. I knew nothing about neurologically-based chiropractic care, but I followed a sign and my gut instinct to bring my children to Dr. Nick. Shortly after, I got under care and the rest is history!

Growing up in Jasper, Indiana, I always loved sports, especially baseball and football. I love the outdoors and in my free time I am either working out at the gym, exploring nature, or spending time with my family.
All my life, I’ve struggled with almost daily headaches, and we didn’t know what was causing them or how to treat them other than traditional medicine. I’ve always been a little skeptical of the chiropractor, especially with the “cracks’ and “pops” that are all over social media. Recently making the move to Indianapolis, I have learned about Hope Chiropractic and the benefits of neurologically-based chiropractic care through Dr. Nick and it is a whole different ball game! I’ve learned so much about the importance of the nervous system, and I am no longer struggling with migraines, and I am taking control of my health again!
Before getting the amazing opportunity to join the team, I actually started out as a practice member seeing Dr. Nick for regular adjustments. I have always loved the atmosphere here, and I knew that it was my calling to serve as many families and kiddos as I could. I am so proud to be part of a team so devoted to those families and kiddos, and I cannot wait for everyone to experience miracles like I did here at Hope Chiropractic through holistic and education-driven care.

Financial and Internal Systems Lead Growing up in a very small town, chiropractic care wasn’t something my family had the knowledge of. I discovered chiropractic care after I graduated college and realized all the issues I had as a teenager could have been avoided with chiropractic care. In 2021, my husband and I moved from Texas to Indiana. During this move, this Texas girl learned what a true winter was! More importantly, I learned what neuro-based chiropractic care was and it completely changed my life. I realized that not all chiropractors are the same and neuro-based chiropractic care is what heals the body. I am so grateful that Hope Chiropractic gave me the opportunity to work remotely after working in the office for a year. Being part of a team that is providing families with hope, answers and help through neurologically based chiropractic care has become my passion! When I am not working I’m spending time with my husband Marcos and puppy Marvin. We love concerts, morning coffee walks and you will probably catch us at the movie theater almost every weekend. Fun Fact- Marvin is under chiropractic care too! Animal chiropractic saved him from having surgery when he was 3 years old and has been under routine care ever since. I know, so cool!

Lead of Workflow I am originally from the Chicago suburbs, but moved to Indiana for college (Boiler Up!!) and moved to the Indianapolis area in 2016 with my husband. My daughter and I started at Hope as practice members in 2021 after she was born. She was just 5 months old at her first adjustment! I love the family focused care and how much education the team provides about the nervous system. It was an approach I’ve never had in chiropractic care (and believe me, I’ve seen a lot of different chiropractors throughout my life!) and I notice how different my daughter is compared to other kids her age in terms of health, focus/attention, and adaptability. I’ve worked in several different jobs in many different fields of work since I moved to Indy, but I finally found my home at Hope in 2023. Outside of work, I love aerial arts and performing around Indy. My family keeps me very busy, and I love to travel and explore new places!Make an Appointment
